'AALEXANDRU NEC' has been crowned the 2026 OLA MAIN EVENT champion for €40,775.

His victory came after a heads-up battle with Vikesh Shah, following a four-way money deal involving Ori Avraham and Umberan Akhtar.

'AAlexandru Nec' called on the Button with K ♠Q ♦ and Vikesh Shah checked his option with J ♥8 ♥.

The flop fell K ♥4 ♥5 ♦.

Shah checked and Nec bet 1M (1.3BB). Shah raised to 3M.

Nec moved all in for 24BB. Shah thought for 20 seconds, then called.

It was a 60/40 situation with Nec in the lead.

Shah had a rail calling for a heart, and Nec had supporters shouting 'hold'.

The 8 ♣ hit on the turn, which gave Shah additional outs.

However, the T ♠ appeared on the river and Nec was congratulated by his rail.

Shah received €36, 975 for this runner-up finish.

Vikesh Shah was all in for 11BB from the Button with A ♣T ♥.

A.Nec called with A ♦2 ♦.

Shah was ahead but the 3 ♦4 ♦6 ♠ flop, gave Nec a 56% chance of being the champion.

The 4 ♥ turn reduced the odds to 40%, but on the 4 ♠ river, Shah survived to double up.

Nec is now playing 37BB v 23BB.

Vikesh Shah shoved for 13BB from the Button with K ♥Q ♠ and Ori Avraham called for his 9BB stack in the Big Blind with 3 ♥3 ♦.

The flop fell T ♦9 ♦4 ♦, the turn was the A ♥ and Avraham was an 80% favorite, but the K ♣ on the river gave Shah the pot.

Israel's Avraham exited in 3rd for €32,650 for his share of the money deal.

Ori Avraham moved all in for 5BB from Under the Gun with K ♥T ♦.

Umberan Akhtar called in the Big Blind with A ♦2 ♥.

The board ran out T ♥J ♣9 ♦7 ♦Q ♥ and Avraham doubled, and Akhtar was down to 8.5BB.

A few hands later, Alex Nec opened the action with a shove for 44BB with A ♥5 ♣. Akhtar was on the Button with T ♦8 ♣ and put his 5BB stack into the middle.

The board ran out A ♦T ♠3 ♣Q ♣A ♠.

Akhtar takes home €29,100 for his share of a four-way deal.

Ori Avraham was all in T ♣T ♠ with 13BB and Umberan Akhtar with 9 ♣9 ♥ called.

The board came 3 ♠T ♥K ♥7 ♣J ♥ and Akhtar was left with 20BB.

Vikesh Shah then 4-bet shoved with 7 ♦7 ♣ under the gun v Alex Nec on the button with 15BB holding Q ♠Q ♥.

The board came 6 ♥2 ♣3 ♣A ♣A ♦ and Shah dropped down to 30BB.

It was then Akhtar's turn to survive in fortunate circumstances.

Nec held Q ♠Q ♣ in the Small Blind and was up against A ♣7 ♥ in the Big Blind.

The board came 6 ♦9 ♠A ♥J ♥4 ♣ and Akhtar doubled.

Umberan Akhtar min-raised to 500K with A ♥5 ♠ and 'TFFT' called with 5 ♦5 ♣ from the Cutoff.

AAlexandru Nec looked down at T ♠T ♦ in the Big Blind after raised to 3M, leaving just 175K behind. Akhtar folded, and 'TFFT' with 6M behind called.

The board ran clean for Nec and he doubled up.

In the very next hand, 'TFFT' moved all in for 15BB from Under the Gun and won the pot.

In the next hand, 'TFFT' defended his Big Blind with Q ♣4 ♣ after a min-raise from Vikesh Shah in the cutoff.

Shah had A ♣9 ♣ and both players checked on the 5 ♣3 ♣5 ♠ flop.

The 7 ♣ turn gave both players a flush.

'TFFT' checked, Shah bet 500K, and was met with all in for 3M, which was called.

'TFFT' needed the six-of-clubs to survive, but the river was the 5 ♥.

He exits with a €17,300 total prize.

Vikesh Shah min-raised to 400K from the Cutoff with T ♥T ♣.

Giuseppe Cangemi was in the Big Blind with 8BB to play with and opted to move all in with A ♥8 ♣ after some thought, which Shah called.

The flop was an interesting one: 9 ♠8 ♥7 ♠.

Shah hit a set on the T ♠ turn and Cangemi had only a 9% chance of survival.

The 9 ♣ improved Shah to a full house, and Cangemi collected a €13,700 prize.

AAlexandru Nec moved all in from the Small Blind for 2M (10BB) with A ♥7 ♣ and was called by 'KayserSoze' in the Big Blind who had only 25,000 more and A ♦2 ♠.

It was a good spot for Nec, who held the dominant Ace-hand.

The flop fell J ♥ 9 ♥ 5 ♣, turn T ♦, river 3 ♠ and 'KayserSoze' was left with a single 25K, half of the event's starting stack.

He was automatically all in from the Small Blind the next hand with 8 ♣7 ♦ and managed to win with trips to move up to 325K.

In the next hand, he was all in from the Button with 4 ♥4 ♣, but couldn't survive in a flip against K ♦J ♦, exiting in 7th for an €11,000 total prize.

'KayserSoze' min-raised to 300K from Under the Gun with K ♣Q ♣.

Giuseppe Cangemi moved all in for 13BB from the Cutoff with A ♠A ♥. 'KayserSoze' had 33BB behind and needed to use a time bank to think before he ultimately called.

The flop fell A ♣K ♠9 ♠ and the 9 ♣ turn confirmed the double for Cangemi with a full house.

With 150K BB, 'TFFT' raised to 400K from the Hijack with A ♣K ♦.

Milan Manojlovic, in the Small Blind, moved all in for 16BB with T ♥T ♣ and was called.

The flop fell K ♠7 ♦3 ♥ and 'TFFT' took the lead. The 6 ♠ hit the turn, and the 4 ♣ on the river, which meant Manojlovic departed in 8th for an €8,875 total prize.

Ian Walsh's fantastic run in the OLA Main Event has come to an end in 9th.

After winning his ticket for free via an early-bird OLA x British Poker Series Lucky Draw promotion, Ian headed to King's Resort as part of Team BPS.

Ian ended his Day 1 flight as the overall chip leader and came into Day 3 with the lead once again.

In his final hands, Ian was reduced from 27BB to 6BB after a mistimed 3-bet shove with J ♠7 ♥ against Pocket Queens.

Then, with K ♠2 ♠ he ran into A ♥Q ♥. The flop fell A ♦5 ♥2 ♥ and the K ♦ turn gave him hope of survival, but the 6 ♥ river gave Vikesh Shah a flush.

Sascha Frick had been down to just 2BB but managed to move back up to 15BB.

Frick was then on the Button with 12BB and moved all in with 6 ♦6 ♣.

Umberan Akhtar looked down at Q ♠Q ♣ in the Small Blind and called.

Frick shook his head as the cards were revealed and knew he needed help from the board to survive.

However, the Q ♦3 ♦2 ♣ flop but Akhtar firmly in control, and he sealed the pot on the 2 ♦ for a full house.

Frick's exit in 10th meant the final 9 went on a short break before the OLA Main Event final table action began.

'TFFT' min-raised to 200K from Under the Gun on the 6-handed table and Frank Andreew reshoved for 970K (9.7BB) from the Cutoff and was called.

'TFFT' held A ♦K ♥ and Andreew had 6 ♦6 ♠.

All was looking good for Andreew on the J ♦3 ♣5 ♠J ♠ board, but the A ♣ hit on the river to deny him, and confirm his exit in 11th.

The remaining 10 players have all earned a €3K Kings Millions package.

Umberan Akhtar raised to 325K (3.3BB) from the Hijack with 8 ♦8 ♣.

Thomas Koehler was in the Small Blind with J ♠J ♦ and shoved for 920K (9.2BB), which Akhtar called.

The flop fell A ♣3 ♠8 ♠ and Akhtar celebrated the set with his rail as Koehler looked to the sky in agony.

The 7 ♠ turn gave Koehler more hope with a flush draw, but the 4 ♥ river was safe for Akhtar to score another KO.

Koehler, who was the Day 1A bubble, did very well to come back and get a 12th-place finish.

'Mousaa' raised to 200K on the Button with A ♠8 ♥ and Umberan Akhtar 3-bet to 650K from the Small Blind with 2 ♥2 ♣.

'Mousaa' had 18BB behind and got involved in conversation with Umberan before he folded.

Just 2 hands later, 'Mousaa' was all in from the Hijack with 8 ♠8 ♣ from the Hijack. Akhtar reshoved for 44BB from the Cutoff with A ♠K ♦.

The flop fell A ♦Q ♥9 ♣ and Akhtar let his Team BPS rail know he took the lead. The turn 7 ♣ and river 2 ♣ meant 'Mousaa' was eliminated in 13th place.

A min-raise to 200K from Early Position led to 'Bela' raising to 800K from the Button, leaving 125K behind.

Ben Ori Avraham moved all in for more from the Big Blind, and 'Bela' called.

It was a flip with 'Bela' holding 9 ♣9 ♦ and Avraham showing A ♥Q ♥.

'Bela' saw a 7 ♣3 ♥4 ♥ flop, holding his lead, but Avraham picked up the flush draw.

The A ♠ turn and T ♥ river confirmed the pot for Avraham, and Bela departed in 13th place for €2175.

In a previous hand, Klas Klinker called from the Big Blind, and left himself only 75K behind. He was forced to fold on the flop, and in the next hand he was in the Small Blind with just 1BB behind.

After a raise and call, Klinker put his remaining 1BB into the middle.

The remaining two players checked through on a 9 ♣9 ♥4 ♦3 ♦8 ♥ board.

Klinker had T ♥5 ♠, and lost to Ace-King to be eliminated in 15th place.

Alexander Fischl moved all in for 9BB from Early Position with A ♣T ♥ and was called by Vikesh Shah in the Small Blind with K ♦K ♣.

Fischl, who made the OLA Final Table last year, needed to hit to survive.

But the board ran out clean Shah, and Fischl departed in 16th place on the feature table.

Start-of-day short stack 'Bela' has found a very early double up.

He was all in and called by Klas Klinker for 450K (6BB).

'Bela' held A ♥K ♠ and was ahead against A ♠3 ♠.

The board ran out 8 ♥K ♥4 ♣3 ♦J ♠ to confirm his double.

Klinker of Team KKPoker, captained by Jon Kyte, dropped down to 450K.
