Pavel Novotny has been eliminated in 11th place after two battles with Aleksandar Trajkovski.

Firstly, Trajkovski shoved for 165K (14BB) from the Cutoff and Novotny called on the Button.

Trajkovski: T ♦T ♥

Novotny: A ♦2 ♦

The board ran out 6 ♦6 ♠8 ♣T ♠9 ♠ and Trajkovski secured the double up.

A few hands later, Novotny limped Under the Gun while 5-handed. Trajkovski then raised to over 200K, enough to put Novotny all in, who thought for a few seconds before he called.

Trajkovski: A ♣Q ♠

Novotny: Q ♦Q ♥

Novotny was in a strong position to reclaim the chips he had recently lost to Trajkovski.

The flop fell 4 ♣K ♥7 ♦ and Novotny held the advantage. However, poker is never straightforward, and the players saw the A ♦ appear on the turn. Trajkovski’s pot was confirmed on the T ♠ river.

Novotny was unfortunate to exit in 11th and missed out on a place in Day 2.

The final 10 players will now bag their chips and return on Sunday.
