LIVE: Day 1A | Filip Triples Up

Three players were all in preflop, with Abat Nagimetov ahead and Filip Topuzovski at risk.

Nagimetov: Q ♦Q ♥

Topuzovski: A ♠T ♠

Player 3: A ♥7 ♣

The flop fell A ♣6 ♥8 ♥ and Topuzovski took the unexpected lead. The 8 ♦ turn and 6 ♠ river changed nothing, and Topuzovski tripled up to 100K, while his opponents were left with less than 3BB each.

LIVE: Day 1A | Flush Over Flush

Shachar Berkowitz raised from middle postion and Victor Lomachin called from the Small Blind.

Berkowitz bet again on the J ♥8 ♠2 ♠ flop, and Lomachin check-raised all-in, which Berkowitz called.

Berkowitz: K ♠Q ♠

Lomachin: A ♠T ♠

Both players held a flush draw, but Lomachin was in the much stronger position.

The turn brought the 5 ♠, which, despite the situation, made both players laugh.

The 7 ♣ river changed nothing, and Berkowitz departed the table and shared another moment of laughter after Lomachin declared that "his chips would be safe in his hands."

After all, OLA's motto is 'Where Smiles Are Rewarded' 😁

LIVE: Day 1A | Updated Chip Counts

Level 10, the final level before late registration closes, is underway.

23 players from 50 entries remain.

Here are some of the biggest stacks in King's Resort:

Jerry Pu - 250K

Frank Andreew - 220K

LIVE: Day 1A | Classic Flip Elimination

Victor Lomachin and Vladyslav Vyshnevetskyy got all their chips into the middle preflop for a classic flip situation.

Lomachin: J ♦ J ♣

Vyshnevetskyy: A ♣ K ♣

Board: 7 ♠8 ♦6 ♣4 ♠6 ♦

Jacks held for Lomachin, and he just covered Vyshnevetskyy to cause an elimination. Lomachin is now back over 100K.

Elsewhere on the table, Jerry Pu, who won his ticket into Day 1A via the afternoon satellite, won a huge 180K pot after hitting a set with Pocket Fours and getting maximum value versus Ace-King, after a 4 on the flop and a King on the turn.

LIVE: Day 1A | Novotny Survives on the River

With the flop down A ♣ J ♣ J ♠ at the start of Level 9, two players checked before Salih Ozdemir bet 13K.

One player folded and Pavel Novotny moved all in for 40K.

Ozdemir quickly called and tabled A ♠ 4 ♦ for trips, with Novotny showing K ♣ Q ♠.

The K ♦ hit on the turn, but the T ♠ on the river was the eventful card, as Novotny hit a straight to survive.

Novotny moved above 80K, leaving Ozedemir with 60K.

Pu is now sitting on approx 45,000 and Bilek up to over 30K.

LIVE: Day 1A | Zeman Eliminates Sasu

Martin Zeman had just lost a big pot with AJ versus AK, but managed to chip back up the very next hand.

With 6K in the pot, Zeman checked from the Hijack on a 7 ♦ 4 ♦ 2 ♣ flop. Andrei Sasu bet 2K from the Cutoff, and Zeman raised to 6K. Sasu called and they saw a k ♥ turn. Both players checked, and Zeman bet enough to put Sasu all in on the 5 ♠ river.

Sasu called and tabled Q ♦ Q ♣, but it wasn't enough as Zeman had hit trips with K ♦ K ♠.

Zeman moved back up to 70K and Sasu was eliminated to ponder reentry in Level 5.

LIVE: Day 1A | Lady Luck for Vladyslav

Marc Meden raised from under the gun and both players in the blinds called to see a K ♥ K ♦ Q ♠ flop.

Vladyslav Vyshnevetskyy and Jerry Pu checked before Meden bet 1.1K. Only Vyshnevetskyy called and he checked on the A ♠ turn.

Meden bet 3.6K and got called. On the Q ♥ river, Vyshnevetskyy checked and Meden checked behind.

Vyshnevetskyy tabled Q ♣ T ♥ for a full house and took down the last pot before the first 15-minute break.

28 players remain from the 32 entries so far.

LIVE: Day 1A | Trips For Zeman

The flop fell K ♦ K ♥ 7 ♣ and five players checked through to the 8 ♦ turn.

Martin Zeman bet 2K from the Small Blind and only Pavel Novotny called.

Zeman bet again on the river, and Novotny called. Zeman revealed K ♠ Q ♣ for trips and took down the pot to move up to 90K from his 50K starting stack in Level 3.

LIVE: Day 1A | Andreew Chips Up

On a J ♥ T ♣ 6 ♠ flop, Renaud Cellini bet 1.7K from MP and Frank Andreew called from the Hijack before a third player folded.

Cellini continued for 3.4K on the 2 ♦ turn, and Andreew raised to 12K. Cellini called and checked on the 8 ♦ river.

Andreew bet another 12K and Cellini called after a minute's thought. It was J ♦ T ♦ two pair for Andreew and he chipped up in Level 3 after Cellini mucked.

LIVE: Day 1A | King For The Win

Shachar Berkowitz bet 6K from the Small Blind on a 8 ♣ 9 ♥ 4 ♦ flop.

Petr Bilek called from the Hijack, and both players checked on the K ♦ turn.

Berkowitz led for 17,000 on the 2 ♠ river, and Bilek quickly called.

Berkowitz tabled A ♥ K ♠ for top pair, and Bilek mucked Pocket Jacks.

Entries are up to 27 at the start of Level 3.

LIVE: Day 1A | Polleti Gets Early Double

With the board down 9 ♣ 8 ♥ 8 ♦ J ♠ 7 ♥, Philpp Polleti bet from the Small Blind, and Thomas Koehler raised to 15K from the Hijack. The Cutoff player called, before Polleti moved all in.

Koehler made the call after some thought and they went to showdown after the third player folded.

Polleti: J ♥ 8 ♥

Koehler: Q ♣ T ♣

It was a brutal full house versus straight in Level 1.

Koehler was left with just 1K and was eliminated shortly after, while Polleti became the new Day 1A chipleader with the early double.
