On day 1 of the debut Ola Poker Tour at King’s Resort the very first champion was crowned in the TURBO MORNING NLH!
After the excitement of the very first tournament, it was time for the €500,000 guaranteed Main Event to begin, with the Day 1A action having got underway at 18:00.
Day 1A saw a total of 90 entries pay the €240 buy-in, with 12 players advancing to Day 2 on Sunday, 22 June, and guaranteed a min-cash prize.
The current Main Event chip leader is Jiri Pavlik after he accumulated an impressive 1,093,000 from a 50,000 starting stack.
Benny, Jamal Ali and Jan Mikláš improved their starting stack by more than 10x ahead of Day 2, with Team Battle participant Elliott Panyi also progressing and securing points for Team British Poker Series.
