The flop fell K ♦Q ♣2 ♥ and Frick held his lead, but the 9 ♦ on the turn meant Kotowicz hit his out and he survived on the 4 ♣ river to double up.

Kotowicz is searching for his second OLA Main Event deep run after taking 16th in 2025.

Ian Walsh, of Team British Poker Series, has turned his 50K starting stack into more than 350K.

In his most recent hand, he took down a pot from the Small Blind on a A ♠2 ♠Q ♠7 ♥ board after he bet 9K and got three opponents to fold before he revealed the A ♥.
